The Conundrum of Change

An interesting conundrum in our turbulent and conflict ridden society is where everyone has the capacity to change but many display an unwillingness too. Of those that want to change many don't know how to alter their unhealthy behaviours and others find the challenge of the process too daunting and find it easier to revert to type, i.e. conflict ridden and unproductive patterns of behaviour. A teasing and somewhat tongue in cheek take on this dilemma is enshrined in the following and optimistic piece by an unknown author.

Symptoms of Inner Peace

'Be on the lookout for symptoms of inner peace. The hearts of a great many have already been exposed to inner peace and it is possible that people everywhere could come down with it in epidemic proportions. This could pose a serious threat to what has, up to now, been a fairly stable condition of conflict in the world.'
